In May 2009, Thomas Traversa saw a good forcast for Morocco and acted on it: a plane, a taxi et voila! Staying with his friend Boujmaa Guilloul he enjoyed the good wind and swell at Moulay Bouzerktoun.

During the world cup in Cabo Verde 2009 he showed he is one with the waves, always sailing in the critical section, with vertical smacks in the pocket and big aerials.
